If you have decided on a Self-Build log building you have a choice of log sizes for use with our Log Lodges and houses from 70mm solid log – 76mm gluelam – 88mm gluelam – 113mm gluelam – 202mm gluelam.

Mobile log Lodges are usually manufactured in either 70mm or 88mm

All the above can be insulated to building control standards.

If you decide on a Timber Frame structure these are available in 90mm or 190mm framework plus the thickness of your chosen external and internal cladding.

We offer one of the widest selections of colour's of bio friendly timber preservatives available on the market today, both external and internal, including specialist floor treatments.

You can usually save over the cost of a wet build, although this will depend on many things, you are more likely to save the more work you do yourself, on the other hand if you employ trades people to do it for you, you may have to be content in the knowledge that you will end up with a much better, more environmentally friendlier, warmer and more economical home with a much higher specification.

Our show site is situated at Wisbech 'Capital of the Fens!' in Cambridgeshire approx. 50 miles north of Cambridge situated halfway between Peterborough and Kings Lynn.

At present our showsite is closed for re-building and refurbishment after our annual sale of show homes.

Maintenance

We give all our Log cabin lodges three coats of our special timber preservative of a colour of your choice when they are constructed, this is guaranteed for 2 years after which time we recommend you to retreat it. After this second treatment it should last for four to six years depending on the position and climate.
